NINETY SIX CPW – WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Water System Improvements will be received, by Ninety Six CPW at their office at 120 Main Street NW, Ninety Six, SC 29666, until 2:00 PM local time on September 9, 2021, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project consists of the construction of approximately 5230 linear feet of 8” PVC C900 DR14 CL150 waterline and misc appurtenances including connections to existing lines, new fire hydrants, new service taps to right of way, connection to existing water meters, erosion control, traffic control, and all else to complete the project.

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Dunn & Associates Engineering, Inc., 102 Giles Street, Anderson, SC 29621 - (864) 222-0339 - Contact is Bill Dunn, Email - bill@dunnengineering.com and Andy Nifong, Email – andy@dunnengineering.com (Please include both contacts in emails). Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of [9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, except on Friday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM], and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Bidding Documents are available via email (as portable document format (PDF) files) for a non-refundable charge of

$25.00. Alternatively, printed Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office either via in-person pick-up or via FEDEX, upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment for the Bidding Documents. The non-refundable cost of printed Bidding Documents is $150.00 per set, payable to “Dunn & Associates Engineering, Inc.”. Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

Bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work with their Bid as described in the Instructions to Bidders.

Bidders must comply with Executive Order No. 11246 which obligates the Contractors not to discriminate in employment practices.

This project is being funded by South Carolina Rural Infrastructure Authority and bidders must comply with all applicable state and federal requirements identified in the bid documents.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to reject any or all bids in their best interest.
